»I like others to be happy«

Melli

Team Assistant

2018

Hi, I'm Melli
I originally come from Berlin and have now been in beautiful Hamburg since 2017. My first job here was really not what I had imagined: The working atmosphere was undercooled, apart from a "Moin" and "Tschüss" there was little exchange. In search of more variety, I then came across AKRA and immediately had a good feeling.
As one of two team assistants, I take care of the reception, the vehicle fleet, the office organization and the planning of events. I like it when others are happy. That's why I'm not only always available for a chat and to answer any urgent questions. I also like to think up events that everyone can benefit from. Since most of my colleagues work directly for clients, these regular meetings are really important! After all, otherwise we would all hardly see each other. Archery or ice skating, yoga class or gin tasting, online or face to face.

The fact that something new is always happening suits AKRA and I can always learn something new - and communicate something new. After all, such events are also there to find out whether everything is right with our developers: Do the tasks and the team fit? Is the right equipment at the start? Is the chair comfortable? The fact that there is always an open ear for such questions at AKRA is what sets us apart and creates a sense of unity that is lived out regardless of our many locations. At our headquarters on Domstrasse, at our customers' sites - and at home, too. Because I like to be with people, I like to live this feeling in my garden after work. With friends and neighbors, in all weathers, by the fire barrel and the grill, with beer or champagne in hand. And the whole thing is best until the early morning.

I love to be in the fresh air. For example, to plant vegetables and flowers in my garden. From purple carrots to rampant pampas grass! It's great to create something tangible. Even though the correct total on an Excel spreadsheet can make me just as happy. I think in the end it's just about growing things: Experiences. Community. And the constant renewed enthusiasm for topics, people and opportunities. That AKRA is the right place for me: I was sure of that from the very beginning.
